  1. Data protection declaration

    With this data protection declaration we would like to inform you about how we process personal data. We are aware of the importance of the processing of personal data for the user and accordingly observe all relevant legal requirements. The protection of your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. Therefore, it goes without saying that we comply with the legal provisions on data protection.

  2. Group-oriented data protection

    To what extent and in what form we process and store personal data depends on the respective group of persons. We differentiate as follows: Publishers, merchants and users.

    Publisher are website operators who use our service by implementing the digidip code to activate the digidip service on their website. The control and ongoing use of the digidip account is carried out via a web-based portal, which is available via login in the browser.

    Merchants are advertisers (or agencies or networks who represent merchants) who use the digidip technology to network with publishers who use our service. If desired, the control and use of the digidip merchant account takes place via a web-based portal, which is available via a login in the browser.

    Under partners we combine both groups, merchants and publishers.

    Users are those Internet users who use the Publishers' websites.

  3. Relevance

    From the user's point of view and under data protection aspects, the following digidip technology components are relevant:

    • Tracking of clicks on outgoing links
    • Tracking of purchase transactions

    In this context, no personal data such as names or e-mail addresses that can be traced back to a natural person are visible to digidip at any time.

    Unless otherwise stated, we receive the data from you (including the equipment you use).

    Personal data is only collected by us if and only to the extent and for the purpose for which you voluntarily provide us with the data as part of the registration process.

      digidip stores the following registration data for contract fulfilment and customer support:

      6. Bank account(s)/Paypal
      7. Tax information (tax number, tax exemption)
      8. User data (see “User” below)

      The customer profiles created are used in the course of complete customer support. These include: Information on the use of our services, information on technical or usage updates, support, master data updates, delivery of payout-relevant documents, document archiving and access to performance and analysis information.

      Merchant

      digidip stores the following registration data for contract fulfilment and partner support:

      1. Name and surname
      2. Address (street, house number, postcode, city, country)
      3. Web page(s)
      4. E-mail address(es)
      5. Login data, if applicable
      6. Tax information (tax number)

      The profiles created are used in the course of the complete partner support. These include: Information on the use of our services, information on technical or usage updates, support and master data updates.

      User

      Furthermore, digidip stores data of users who visit a website of publishers who use digidip and thus use our technology. These are exclusively pseudonymised data which do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about a natural person, but nevertheless provide a definable profile. This data is collected using a cookie.

      The following data is stored in detail:

        • Surfing behaviour (clicked links)
        • Browser and browser version
        • Operating system
        • Screen size
        • Device type
        • Country
        • City
        • Time of access
        • Referrer (from which website the user came)
        • Online shop used and, if applicable, order value
        • Transaction ID
        • IP address

      The previously listed data are provided with an arbitrary online identifier (cookie ID) and thus result in a definable profile. However, personal data such as names, addresses, e-mail addresses etc. cannot be viewed or stored by digidip at any time.

      The collected user data serve the following purposes:

      • Execution of digidip services for partners
      • Aggregated reporting for partners only (no detailed data transfer)

      Users who do not agree to the data storage can unsubscribe on our Opt-Out page.

  11. Data transmission to third countries

    Data may be transferred to third countries outside the European Union. This is done on the basis of statutory contractual regulations, which provide for an to ensure adequate protection of your data and which you can view on request.
